Anne Frank House VR Tour

The Anne Frank House, or Anne Frank Museum, is a popular place in Amsterdam that retells a young girl’s story of hope and resistance during World War II.

As one of the most visited museums in Amsterdam, everyday tickets to this attraction are limited, and last-minute tickets are hard to come by.

Tourists caught without Anne Frank House tickets have two alternatives – they can book a walking tour of the neighborhood or opt for the Virtual Reality tour of the House.

But what’s the better alternative?

Between the two, we suggest you opt for the VR tour. Here are our reasons:

  • The VR tour gives you an opportunity to witness the exact replica of the house during the times when Anne was in hiding, while the current museum has been changed to accommodate tourists
  • It’s the next best option to actually being inside the actual house
  • The VR tour is a massive hit with tourists
  • It costs only €39 per person

This Anne Frank ticket has two parts – an extensive walking tour of Anne Frank’s locality followed by a self-paced VR tour of Anne Frank’s house.

You start the tour with a stroll through the beautiful city of Amsterdam and indulge in its picturesque neighborhood, filled with closely constructed houses, cafes, and shops.

A local guide will walk you through the history of  Amsterdam during World War II through Anne Frank’s life.

The entire block around this attraction contains stories and histories of war-exploited Amsterdam.

You get to see Anne Frank’s House [from the outside] facing the Prinsengracht along with views of what she could have seen from the infamous ‘secret annex’ mentioned in her diary.

After taking you through the path where Anne and her family took their final walk toward their hiding place, the tour ends at a cafe with a VR tour of the Anne Frank House.

Did you know that you could see Anne Frank’s house just like in the times during the war?

This is the added advantage of this VR tour, where you get to witness the actual Anne Frank House in its original setup during the two years of hiding from the Nazis before its contents were seized and modified after the family’s arrest.

Explore the house at your own pace, which was once a temporary shelter that protected a Jewish family during troubled times.

Ticket Price: €39 per person
