After making the purchase, you will receive the tickets in your email.

Ticket printouts are not required.

How long does Heineken Experience take

Most visitors spend two to three hours learning and exploring during the self-guided tour of the Heineken Experience.

Only the entry is timed, but once inside, there is no time limit on how long you can stay.

The duration of your Heineken Experience will depend on two factors – the time you spend waiting outside to buy the tickets and the time you spend inside exploring the Museum.

Tourists who land up at this Beer Museum without tickets end up standing in long queues at the ticketing counter.

These waiting times are incredibly long during the peak summer months.

Tripadvisor reviews

Situated in an old brewery, the Heineken Experience today is undoubtedly one of the most visited places in Amsterdam.

The Heineken Experience has captured the hearts of many visitors to Amsterdam with its history and fun.

Perfect for a beer lover

You can’t go to Amsterdam without going to see the brewery. The tour includes two drinks, and is ideal for a beer lover! The fascinating thing about it is it’s within the City Centre. – Jane

Lots to see, taste, smell, and try

It is an interesting, interactive, self-guided tour with lots to see, taste, smell and try. The fee included two pints at the end of the tour plus a half-pint in the middle, where you learn to enjoy a Heineken fully. And also a free, guided canal boat ride to their centrally located branded store. The guide here was hilarious, and they offered the possibility to buy a Heineken during the ride. Great value for money and a wonderful visit if you like beer or history! – Danny Bacon
