MACBA is open on all days of the week except Tuesdays.

Monday to Friday, the museum is open from 11 am to 7.30 pm.

However, it runs from 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday, and on Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm.

On 25 December and 1 January, the museum remains closed.

Entrance tickets may be purchased up to 30 minutes before closing time and Museum’s eviction starts 10 minutes before closing time. 

How long does Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art take

If you are in a hurry, it can take around an hour or less to explore the MACBA Museum.

But if you spend time taking pictures of the artifacts, you can expect your stay to extend up to one and a half hours.
