Donaubräu specializes in Austrian cuisine and features an outdoor dining area accommodating approximately 430 people. The Tower Beer is a specialty of Donaubräu.
The lift is really cool, and we were greeted warmly by the operator. There’s a restaurant, so you need to specify if you’re heading to the viewpoint or the restaurant. Once you’re up there, the views are amazing. We went in the late evening, and it was beautiful to see the city spread out like a blanket.
If you’re planning to visit the Danube Tower, here’s a tip from my visit: we went on a whim and were pleasantly surprised to find no queue. The lift zooms up in seconds, which was really impressive. There are viewing terraces at 150m and an indoor one at 155m. If you’re in the mood for dining, you can enjoy the view from 170m in the restaurant. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you have some spare time in Vienna.
