An hour or two well spent
This is one of the things you just have to do while in Vegas. A bit pricey at around US$25 to get to the top (not including the thrill rides), but the views whilst having a couple of drinks make it a worthwhile way to spend a couple of hours.
What a view!
Wow, this was so much better than any of us expected. The observation deck is nicely kept (you can get food, drinks, and souvenirs). The views are amazing! There are so many places to sit, relax, and enjoy the view. Some of our group also did the rides and enjoyed them, but I think the observation deck was just as cool.

Either way, it was a good time, and I really enjoyed it. The staff at The Strat were super friendly and helpful.
With our experience from visiting STRAT Skypod, we suggest you to go during happy hour. The views are great, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Just know that there’s no free parking—you have to pay for parking and to go up to the top. We went up for happy hour, enjoyed sunset drinks, and took in the amazing views. The rides were running too, and if you dare, they’re epic! It’s a must-do. We had a fantastic afternoon!
