360 CHICAGO Observation Deck is located at 875 N Michigan Avenue, atop the John Hancock Building. 

It is positioned at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Delaware Place, providing panoramic views of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. 

Even though the observatory has a parking garage offering self-parking and valet parking services, we suggest you opt for public transportation to avoid parking challenges.

360 CHICAGO’s parking at 875 N Michigan Ave. Garage

The John Hancock Center parking garage is the closest option to 360 CHICAGO

The vehicle clearance in the garage is 6 feet 7 inches, and motorcycle parking is not permitted at this location. 

The EV charging stations are on the 6th floor. 

Although parking costs are relatively high, you can easily access the parking garage from either the Chestnut Street or Delaware Place side of the building.

You can even reserve your space by booking through SpotHero App for up to 50% discount. 

Please ensure you adhere to your scheduled parking times. 

If you arrive early or stay beyond your SpotHero reservation period, you won’t be able to scan out, and you’ll be charged for the extra time parked.

Parking Garages near 360 CHICAGO Observatory Deck

There are plenty of parking facilities available near the Observation Deck in Chicago. 

Water Tower Place Garage

Parking within this garage is restricted to visitors, employees, residents, and guests of Water Tower Place. 

If you wish to visit the Water Tower Place and 360 CHICAGO, you can opt for this parking garage, which is only a minute’s walk from the observatory. 

Please note that vehicles accessing the garage have a height restriction of 79 inches (6.5 feet).

200 E Chestnut St. – Valet

While booking this valet parking, please verify that the correct license plate is listed on the parking pass. 

Failure to verify the accuracy of the license plate could result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.

The garage is wheelchair accessible, and the height restriction for vehicles is 78 inches (6.5 feet). 

When using SpotHero Parking Pass, present it to the valet, either printed or on a mobile device. 

The valet will provide you with a ticket and park your car. You must keep this ticket to exit. 

When you’re ready to leave, show the valet your ticket, and your car will be retrieved for you. 

The access hours for the parking facility are from 10 am to 9 pm on Monday, 9 am to 10 pm from Tuesday to Thursday, 9 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9 am to 9 pm on Sunday. 

From here, you can walk to the 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck in a minute.

201 E Walton St. – Sonesta ES Suites

This highly-rated parking space offers valet services to customers and is just a three-minute walk to the observatory.

Vehicles exceeding 78 inches (6.5 feet) are not permitted. 

If you misplace your valet ticket, you must pay the full day’s parking fee of $70. 

Due to size constraints, only standard-sized vehicles are permitted, so this location cannot accommodate minivans, midsize and large SUVs, pickup trucks, and passenger vans.

The garage is wheelchair accessible and remains closed on Fridays and Saturdays. 

100 E Walton St. – Valet Garage

This garage is a four-minute walking distance to 360 CHICAGO. 

Vehicles exceeding 74 inches (6 feet) in height are not allowed. 

In/Out privileges are allowed with an additional $10 charge payable on-site.

Oversized vehicles cannot be accommodated through SpotHero drive-up. 

The $10 fee on-site applies specifically to drive-up service since there are only two designated spaces for oversized vehicles in the garage.

Please note that this parking garage is not wheelchair accessible.

Street Parking – Metered street parking might be available in the surrounding area, but availability can be limited, and time restrictions may apply.

Public transportation to 360 CHICAGO

The John Hancock Center is easily accessible by public transit.

By Train

You can board the Red Line train and get off at the Grand Station, a 10-minute walk from 360 CHICAGO.

The Red Line train offers continuous services between Howard on the North Side and 95th/Dan Ryan on the South Side.

This 24-hour service includes subway routes through downtown Chicago, providing convenient transportation options for commuters and travelers alike.

You can also take the Brown or Purple lines and get down at the Chicago Ave Station, a 15-minute walk to 360 CHICAGO.

By Bus

If you’re traveling from downtown, you can catch the 151 bus from Michigan Ave, and it will take you directly to 360 CHICAGO. 

You can also take the 146 bus from State St, which also goes to 360 Chicago. 

Buses 125 and 66 also operate along Chicago Avenue. From there, you can take a five-minute walk to the Observation Deck.
