How to reach Nymphenburg Palace

Nymphenburg Palace is a popular tourist attraction in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

You can reach the attraction via public or private transport.

By Subway

You can take the S-Bahn lines S1 or S2 to the station Laim

You can transfer to tram 17 and get off at the Palace stop.

You can also take U-Bahn lines U1 or U7 to Rotkreuzplatz, then the tram to Schloss Nymphenburg. 

A short 9-minute walk will lead you to the attraction. 

By Tram

Tram line 17 directly connects the city center Karlsplatz/Stachus with the Palace. The tram stops right in front of the Palace.

By Car

If you are traveling by car, turn on your Google Maps and get started. 

There are enough parking garages near the attraction.

Opening hours of Nymphenburg Palace

The Munich Palace Nymphenburg is open from 9 am to 6 pm from April to 15 October.

From 16 October to March, the Palace opens at 10 am and closes early at 4 pm.

The last entry is 30 minutes before the closing time.

The Palace remains closed on 1 January, Shrove Tuesday, 24, 25 and 31 December.
