Where to book tickets

Tickets for Chocoversum in Hamburg are available online and at the attraction.

Chocoversum Hamburg tickets cost €25 for visitors aged 18 and above.

Children aged six to 17 years get a discount of €10 and pay €15 for tickets.

Young visitors under the age of six years can enter the museum for free. 

Students above the age of 18 pay €21 for tickets. They must carry a valid ID.

You can savor the fluctuating taste of chocolates during the six stages of production. 

This tour offers you a chance to be a chocolatier and craft your version of tasty sweetmeats, which you can take home for your loved ones. 

This ticket includes an audio guide in English or German.

Cancellation and rescheduling are possible until 11.59 pm the day before your visit.

Note: Even though visitors aged six and below enter for free, you must get them a free ticket.

The Chocolate Museum in Hamburg is located near the Central Station in the heart of the city.

You can reach the attraction by public or private transport.

By Subway

Take the U1 line from Hamburg Central Station towards Norderstedt and get off at Meßberg. It takes five minutes to get to the museum. 

By Metrobus

Board bus number 4 or 6 and get off at the station Brandstwiete. It takes five to 10 minutes to walk to reach the museum. 

By Car

Turn on your Google Maps to reach the museum.

Parking facilities are available in and around Pumpen and Burchardplatz for up to 60 minutes.

You can also park in Oberbaumbrücke 1 near the museum for longer hours.

The Hamburg Chocoversum is open from 10 am to 6 pm every day. 

The last entry is an hour before closing time.

A complete tour of the Hamburg Chocolate Museum takes around 90 minutes.

When will online tickets open for booking?

Chocoversum tickets are released 90 days in advance. Online tickets tend to sell out quickly, and we recommend you book the tickets well in advance. 

Does the Chocolate Museum have a reduced ticket for a guest with a disability? 

Yes, They do have reduced tickets for physically challenged people. Visitors with 70 percent disability can purchase a reduced ticket for €21.

Can I go to the Chocoversum without booking a guided tour? 

The museum, unfortunately, doesn’t allow a visit without a guide as they want to ensure an infotainment experience during the 90-minute tour. 

Can I bring my pets to Chocoversum?

Pets are not allowed in the museum due to hygienic reasons. 

Are lockers available in Hamburg Chocoversum? 

There is an area in the museum with individual and group lockers. It can be used to store your valuables against a deposit of €1 for an individual and €10 for group lockers.
