Visitors soar through the air over some of the Gatorland Orlando’s top attractions, such as Cuban and Nile Crocodiles, before flying over the Alligator Breeding Marsh, complete with 130 giant alligators below.

During the Gatorland zipline flight, you will reach speeds of almost 48 km (30 miles) per hour.

The Gatorland zip-line adventure starts with a brief safety and orientation session and lasts around two hours.

What to wear for zip line at Gatorland

Your zipline experience at the Gatorland Alligator Park depends on what you wear.

It is better to wear comfortable, breathable layers, which are easy to move around.

Attires such as three-fourths, trousers, leggings, or capri pants offer padding against the harness and make the ride more comfortable.

For precisely the same reason, skirts, dresses, or shorts are not allowed for guests willing to go up on the ziplines.

During summer, throw on a T-shirt or tank top, but it is better to wear a long-sleeved shirt or sweatshirt during cooler times because you may reach the speed of 48 km (30 miles) per hour.

It is better to wear close-toed shoes, like hiking boots or sneakers.

Avoid flip-flops and sandals because they tend to fall off in the air.

While ziplining, it is better to avoid accessories and garments such as scarves, hats, long necklaces, etc., which can get tangled in the zip-line equipment or fly off during the ride.

The Screamin’ Gator Zip Line flies over numerous animal exhibits and walkways of the park. For the safety of the animals and park guests below the zip lines, cameras, cell phones, video equipment, GoPro cameras, etc., are not allowed on the ziplines. Secure lockers are available for storing your belongings.
