The Glass Slide is a transparent tube measuring seven meters in length, made of ultra-clear tempered glass with a thickness of 12 millimeters, and a slide connecting the 53rd floor to the 52nd floor.

As you slide down the transparent tube, you’ll be treated to a rapid glimpse of the towering buildings and bustling streets of Dubai.

Can the light shows be seen from Skyview?

You can witness the light shows of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain from the Sky View observatory.

The Burj Khalifa light show occurs six times daily, every half hour, exclusively on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, between 7.45 pm and 10.45 pm.

The Dubai Fountain has daily afternoon shows at 1 pm and 1.30 pm, extending to 2 pm on Fridays. Evening displays are every half hour from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Note those timings so you can visit the observatory and catch the light shows per their schedule.
