Opening hours

Sea Life Aquarium in Orlando opens at 11 am all through the week. 

From Sunday to Thursday it closes at 7 pm, and on Friday and Saturday, it closes at 8 pm. 

The last entry is always one hour before closure. 

Best time to visit Sea Life

The best time to visit the Sea Life Orlando Aquarium is at 11 am, as soon as they open.

When you start early, you don’t get stuck behind the crowd, the creatures in the touch pools are most active, and you can attend most of the Aquarium’s interactive sessions.

If you can’t make it to Orlando Aquarium in the morning, the next best time is after 3 pm because the crowd has left by then.

If you want to avoid the crowd and long queues at the ticket counter, it will be best to avoid weekends and school holidays.

How long does Sea Life take?

Most families with kids take two hours to fully explore Orlando’s Sea Life aquarium. 

Adults in a hurry can go through all the marine exhibits in an hour. 

Since the Sea Life Orlando tickets don’t have a time restriction, once inside, you can stay for as long as you want.

The general admission ticket does not permit re-entry.

Sea Life Orlando tickets

The Sea Life Orlando Aquarium tickets offer you the chance to come “face-to-fin” with sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and more. 

It gets you access to all the aquarium exhibits at the attraction.

Since this is a Skip the Line ticket, you can avoid the lines at the ticket counter. 

On the day of your visit, you can show the ticket on your mobile and enter.

Shark Dive – Virtual Reality at Sea Life

If you want more from your visit to Sea Life Aquarium Orlando, opt for the VR Shark Dive Experience.

When you book the upgraded experience, you feel what it’s like to dive with tiger sharks.

Everyone gets VR goggles, jumps on a boat with shark dive specialists, and takes a trip to the Bahamas for a VR encounter with the magnificent Tiger Shark.

Guests must be six years old or older to ride.

How to reach Sea Life

SEA LIFE Aquarium Orlando is on International Drive in the ICON Park Complex. Get Directions

Walking to the attraction from the International Drive takes you a few minutes.

The closest Sunrail station is the Sand Lake Road station, which is 7 miles (11 km) from the attraction.

If you plan to take the I-Rail Trolley, you have two options – Red Line (Northbound stop 17) and Green Line (Southbound stop G9).

The Lynx bus will take you to International Drive on links 8, 38, 42, 50, 58, and 111.
