Entrance for Museum Island is not part of the ticket. If you want to check out all the museums on Museum Island, it is better to get the Museum Island Pass. The pass gets you access to Bode Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Altes Museum, Pergamon and New Museum.

By bus

You can get off at Staatsoper or Friedrichstraße, only 7 minutes and 13 minutes away, respectively.

By metro

By tram

Am Kupfergraben and Hackescher Markt are the nearest stops, only 7 minutes and 6 minutes away, respectively.

Alte Nationalgalerie’s timings

From Tuesday to Sunday, the Alte Nationalgalerie is open from 10 am to 6 pm. 

It remains closed on Monday.

The last admission is half an hour before closing.
