The House of Carlo Goldoni, or Casa di Carlo Goldoni, is a museum located in a small palace that served as the residence of the Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni.

Where to book tickets 

You can purchase tickets for Carlo Goldoni’s House online in advance or at the attraction.

Casa di Carlo Goldoni is a 2-minute walk away from Piazza San Marco, right in the heart of Venice.

You can reach the museum by public or private transport.

By Bus

Take bus 19 and alight at the  Venezia stop, a little over half a mile (1 km) from the museum.

By Train 

Catch the EC, EC82, and NJ trains and get down at the Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia which is over half a mile (1 km) from the attraction.

By Ferry

Take ferry 1, 2, or N to the S. Toma’ “A” terminal. The museum is a short 3-minute walk from the terminal.

By Car

If you are driving by car, turn on Google Maps and get started!

You can park at the Gondola parking lot, a 10-minute walk from the theater.

The museum is open every day of the week, from 10 am to 4 pm.

It remains closed on  Wednesdays. 

The last entry is 30 minutes before closing time. 

The museum’s closing operations start 20 minutes before the actual closing time.
