• BTS Skytrain: Get off at Chong Nonsi Station (Silom Line), directly connected to the building.

Dress Code for Mahanakhon SkyWalk

While there’s no strict dress code for the Mahanakhon SkyWalk, we recommend light and breathable clothing (T-shirts, shorts, cotton dresses) for the warm Bangkok weather.

For the best Glass Tray experience, wear comfortable sneakers or flats.

What to Avoid

• Flip-flops and bare feet
• High heels (especially if walking on the glass tray)
• Skirts or dresses

Note: Shoe covers are provided for the glass tray, and you will need to remove your shoes.

Rules & Regulations

• Large bags are not allowed. Please store them in the lobby or in the nearby lockers available at Mahanakhon.
• Outside food and drinks are not permitted. These are available at the bar or cafe.
• Tripods and drones are not allowed. Selfie sticks are only permitted in some areas.
• For glass tray safety, no loose items, including phones, are allowed directly on the tray.
• If rain closes the outdoor deck during your visit, you can re-enter within 3 days. No refunds are provided.

The King Power Mahanakhon Skywalk is a good experience. It was scary but fun to step onto the glass-floored observation deck on the 78th floor. I enjoyed the panoramic views of the city’s iconic landmarks from the observation deck.

If you’re on a tight budget or afraid of heights, Baiyoke observation deck is your other option – it is shorter & tickets are also cheaper.

But remember it cannot match the thrill of Mahanakhon because of its views, Glass Tray and SkyRides.
