From March to October, ARTIS Zoo opens at 9 am and closes at 6 pm; from November to February, it opens at 9 am and closes early at 5 pm. Micropia is open from 11 am to 5 pm every day of the week.

If you visit with kids, exploring Artis Amsterdam Zoo will take four hours. However, if you are a bunch of adults and want to wrap up soon, you can cover most animal exhibits in two hours.

Micropia Museum

Micropia is open from 11 am to 5 pm every day of the week. It is the only museum displaying the invisible world of micro-organisms. This exhibit in the Artis Royal Zoo needs a separate entry ticket.

Cloakroom

Visitors can drop off their luggage at the service desk next to the Planetarium Cafe entrance at ARTIS. Lockers are provided for visitors in Micropi and the Groote Museum.
