Locally known as Pana, Panajachel is a small town on the North shore of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. It is the busiest and most built-up lakeside settlement in the World. And why not…after all, it has an amazing volcano panorama, a beautiful blue lake, numerous all-range restaurants, unbeatable nightlife, cheap accommodation and on-time transportation.
Based in Ogasawara-mura, near Tokyo this secluded beach spot is beautiful in its serenity. The pure white sand, the emerald green waters make it a must visit place. Due to language, and due to the fact that the humble Japanese don’t really like talking about the good things they have…you won’t find much about Mimamishima on the internet.
Broome is a coastal, pearling and tourist town in Western Australia.
This beach town offers turquoise waters and beautiful white sand curving away to the sunset. For those who love nude beaches, we recommend staying in the Northern part. At the Cable Beach, don’t miss the evening camel ride along the sand, while the sun is setting.
Reunion Island, Africa (is French territory)
Reunion Island in Africa is a little-known traveler’s gem. Once you are on this island in the Indian Ocean, you can’t but fall in love with the emerald forests, the mountainscapes, the free-flowing waterfalls, the treacherous roads, and the soul-stirring views everywhere you see. If you are a nature and outdoors lover, Reunion Island is a must visit. Hiking is the number-one activity.
Ischia, Campania, Italy
Sitting in the Gulf of Naples, Ischia offers unspoiled landscapes, pure beaches with crystal clear waters, and the ever-popular thermo-mineral springs offering hot water baths. Definitely try the spectacular white sand beaches – Maronti, Citara, and Lacco Ameno. There are great walks, hikes and bike circuits to take around the island.
Also known as the friendly island, Molokai is a small island (measuring just 61 by 16 kms) in the Hawaiian archipelago. If you love outdoors adventure, this is the perfect place for you. We strongly recommend taking the hike to the Kalaupapa National Historical Park and relaxing on Papohaku Beach, the biggest white sand beach of Hawaii.
Kaikoura, New Zealand
At Kaikoura you can see the natural wonders offered by both land and sea. Located on a Rocky peninsula, protruding from lush farmland below the mountains, Kaikoura can really put you in touch with nature. It is the perfect base camp for checking out offshore wildlife such as sperm whales, orcas, and fur seals.
Kotor is a city steeped in tradition and history, and the fact that it is located on a beautiful bay on the coast of Montenegro…adds to its allure. The city was built in the 12th century and it clearly shows. This is why this is a unique tourist destination – they are attracted by natural beauty as well as the old town of Kotor.
Aitutaki, Cook Islands, South Pacific
The Aitutaki island is a triangular shaped land mass built just for tourists like you and me. Set in the Pacific Ocean, it rises to about 4000 meters above the sea level giving it enough elevation for breathtaking views. Life on Aitutaki moves at a really relaxed pace and this is why it is a favoured travel destination for both single-day trips and extended period trips.
Muscat is a port & tourist city. It is also a city of golden beaches, mountainous heights, and golden sand dunes. It is spotlessly clean and whimsically uniform – yes, the city has strict building policies, which have made sure that the city looks uniform. Al-Bustan and Bandar Jissah in Muscat are amazing places for recreation.
