There are two types of guided tours at Park Guell  – the General Guided Tour & the Private Guided Tour.

1. General Park Guell Guided Tour

If you book the General Guided tour, you will be part of a 25-member group (or less, depending on the season). This Park Guell guided tour lasts an hour.

This is the most popular Park Guell guided tour.

To cater to the inflow of tourists from various countries, the guided tour is offered in four different languages – English, French, Catalan and Spanish.

General Guided tour ticket price

Children from 0 to 6 do not need to pay for the Park Guell General guided tour, but they need to get a ticket from the ticketing counter (at zero cost) to gain entry to the Monumental Core.

If you are entitled to a discount or free admission, be ready to prove it with an ID card.

General Guided tour meeting point 

After buying the tickets, land up at Carretera del Carmel 23 (just after entering Park Guell).

General Guided tour of Park Guell

OUR RECOMMENDATION: Barcelona experts believe it takes 2 hours plus to explore Park Guell properly. Since this guided tour lasts only 50-60 minutes many tourists feel hurried.

The price of Park Guell General Guided tour ticket is 7 Euros more than the normal non-guided Park Guell ticket.

In short, the price of this ticket is almost double that of the regular ticket.

2. Private Park Guell Guided Tour

If you don’t want to be part of a large group but want a guided tour, you can opt for Park Guell’s Private Guided Tour.

The private guided tour needs a minimum of two tourists and a maximum of five. Like the General Guided Tour, the private tour also lasts for approximately 50-60 minutes.

When you book this guided tour you also get to Skip the Line, thus saving yourself a lot of waiting time.

The Private Guided tour is provided in four different languages – English, French, Catalan and Spanish.

You can book your private guided tour up to 48 hours in advance.

On weekdays these tours are available at 9 am, 1.30 pm, and 4.30 pm. On weekends and official holidays, the Park Guell private guided tours are scheduled for 1 pm, 1.30 pm, 4.30 pm. You must choose your preferred slot while booking your tickets.

After buying the tickets, land up at Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya (just after entering the park). Keep an eye out for this sign, for it is used to identify the meeting point.

Private Guided Tour of Park Guell

OUR RECOMMENDATION: Price of Park Guell Private Guided tour ticket is 36 Euros more than the normal non-guided Park Guell ticket.

Since the price of the Private tour ticket is six times of the regular ticket, we don’t recommend the Private Guided Tour as well. It is just not worth the high price.

Since the private tour also lasts only 60 minutes, in the end, the tourists feel rushed through.
